It all begins...
Hands in the center, and everyone yells, "Go Team!" It's our first of what will be many "go teams" in the season. Here's our IronTeam at our kick-off celebration. We are starting a ten month training season to participate in a full Ironman triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run). Some of us are going to Ironman Canada and others, like myself, are going to Ironman USA in Lake Placid. Whatever the destination of our event, all of us have pledged to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and it's the team's goal to reach $1,000,000 this season. It's incredibly exciting (and of course scary) to begin this journey. I'm not really sure what's to come. In addition to knowing that I'm doing my part to help find a cure for cancer, I'm most excited about meeting new people, getting stronger, and discovering more about what my body is capable of.
This is by far my biggest undertaking, and it all starts now!

Go Team!! Go Jenn!! It's the journey....not the destination.
